NEWS RELEASE

New 2-CD Set Of Vancouver Aerial Photos Attracts Graphic Designers

LANGLEY, BC (Feb. 28, 2005) – Local production company Flightpath Film Video and Stills announces the release of its first CD-ROM image library title: Aerial Vancouver, a collection of royalty-free, high-resolution aerial photographs of the Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley regions.

Aimed at corporate marketing and advertising departments and individual graphic designers needing to showcase the beauty of Vancouver in their promotional print materials and digital presentations, this 2-CD set contains 40 digital images photographed in 16-BIT colour giving every graphic artist the flexibility of manipulating the images to suit their designs.

Fresh, up-to-date views of the downtown peninsula, Stanley Park, Burrard Inlet, Coal Harbour, Canada Place and Science World, including English Bay, Granville Island, Kitsilano, and Grouse Mountain, show why Vancouver is one of the most livable cities and the premiere tourist destination in North America. Views of White Rock, Fraser Valley, Horseshoe Bay, and Bowen Island fills out this comprehensive CD set, making it a refreshing addition to the usual ground-level tourist images that everyone is so accustomed to seeing.

The recent increase in development all across the region as municipalities and private developers ramp up their projects to coincide with the 2010 Winter Olympic Games makes this a ‘must-have’ collection for graphic designers who require the best and latest images available.

“These photos were taken in the last couple of months and Vancouver’s urban landscape is already showing signs of these changes,” says Flightpath president, Rock Whitney. “We’re hoping that this will present us with an opportunity to refresh this collection on an on-going basis. Plans are already underway to introduce a companion CD-ROM of aerial images of the Whistler ski resort area.”

Details as follows:
This 2 CD-set of 40 outstanding high-resolution aerial photographs are available now for only $997.00 under a royalty-free license agreement from Flightpath Film Video and Stills.
